The City of Lawrenceburg, Indiana is currently seeing an experienced IT Manager. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing information technology and computer systems for all departments for the City of Lawrenceburg and Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities. The IT Manager will analyze our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions, and provide training. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, management experience, and industry knowledge which they will utilize to maintain the City’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or at least 5 years of equivalent training and/or work experience; documented experience with various Microsoft technologies; experience with configuring, installing, maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting of computer operations; comprehensive knowledge of systems analysis, programming and computer operations; strong analytical and logical problem solving skills as well as strong interpersonal communication and relations skills; good organizational and project management skills; leadership and management experience required.
