Competitive Cycling Challenge Returns to Southeast Indiana

Lawrenceburg, Ind., July 10, 2023 – Spectators can enjoy the thrill of live professional cycling – plus even more free fun – this week at the Whiskey City Competitive Cycling Challenge, an annual cycling event on the streets of downtown Lawrenceburg.

WHAT:              Whiskey City Competitive Cycling Challenge

WHEN:             Saturday, July 15

TIME:               Races from 1-9pm

WHERE:           High and Walnut Streets, Downtown Lawrenceburg

COST:              Free admission for spectators

The staggered races will take place on a closed course that is a flat and very fast .65-mile loop throughout the city’s historic downtown, with parking available throughout the Walnut and High Street areas. The first race begins at 1pm, with the last race starting at 9. 

Sponsored by CIVISTA Bank and presented by Queen City Wheels in coordination with the City of Lawrenceburg and Lawrenceburg Main Street, the event will also include a corn hole tournament, celebrity tricycle races, Jump Jam skateboarding event, destination dining, and lots of fun throughout the day.
